Fluid IRs—A Giant Leap for Guitar Tone
Fluid IRs are next-generation impulse responses that go beyond replicating a speaker’s frequency response. While standard IRs only reproduce frequency curves, Fluid IRs also capture dynamic compression and harmonic generation—making them far more lifelike. By preserving how speakers naturally compress lower frequencies and generate harmonics, Fluid IRs deliver a thicker, more direct tone. Thanks to THU’s new update, all built-in cabinets and SuperCabinet libraries now feature Fluid IRs. Even user-imported IRs can be converted into Fluid IRs using Overloud’s built-in AI. Centuria—The Klone to Beat
The Centuria is the most advanced and accurate emulation of the legendary Klon Centaur* and was created using Overloud’s Fluid Capture technology. This new effect model is only available for owners of THU Premium.
The Centuria emulation offers two different mods in addition to the original circuit. The C14 mod extends the action of the Tone control knob, while the Fat mod makes the model suitable for bass guitars by extending the low end. Beyond these enhancements, the Centuria captures all of the rich, open distortion of the original, honoring the sonic integrity of this coveted, collectable pedal.
Overloud’s Fluid Capture is the only technology able to capture the exact tone of this device and, at the same time, replicate the full dynamic range of each knob. This is done by capturing the device at multiple settings and retrofitting the model to recreate the sampled tone.
The Centuria is a premium model, which means it is a high-value model available only in THU Premium. Other premium models exclusive to THU Premium are: Tri-Chorus, Phase Stone, the Cat, and all Randall and THD amplifiers.

Rig Player—Play the Real Thing
THU is the first amp simulator that includes both amp modeling and capturing technologies. The Rig Models are created from real setups, i.e., real amps, cabinets, microphones and mic preamps. Overloud's proprietary technology allows their engineers to capture the response of an entire rig, including the nonlinear and dynamic response of the amplifier, the cabinet, the microphones, the mic preamplifier and the room sound. The Rig Player, integrated into THU, allows you to reproduce any nuance of the sampled rigs and to combine the models of different setups to sculpt your ultimate tone.
Amp Tweak
Thanks to its innovative DSP technology, THU features a new panel that lets you change the pre and power tubes models, as well as simulate the action of a variac. This lets you mod any amplifier model with an almost limitless combination of tubes and opens the product to new sound capabilities.
3D Cabinet Simulation + Double IR Loader
THU offers a matrix of four microphones that can be placed anywhere in the 3D space in front of and even behind the cabinet. You can even change their angle and pan them in the stereo space. Fluid Convolution allows seamless movement of the microphones and the ability to use long IRs to get realistic and solid tones. A double IR loader integrated into the cabinet module allows you to craft unique and creative ambiance, and even load and mix IRs with the cabinet microphones!

Intelligent MIDI Setup
Setting up a MIDI floorboard is as easy as clicking an element in the THU interface and pressing the corresponding pedal on the MIDI floorboard. THU learns the MIDI connection and uses it on any preset automatically. Gigs have never been so fun with THU!
